Bentley Map and Bentley Advanced Map Finishing use different display features that are currently incompatible. For that reason, Bentley Advanced Map Finishing and Bentley Map cannot be operated at the same time.

Bentley Map should be used for data maintenance, analysis and simple map production.

Bentley Advanced Map Finishing should be used where high quality cartographic output is required.

Bentley Advanced Map Finishing cannot read certain Bentley Map features and objects:

• Dynamic Labeling (use annotation created from labeling)
• Thematic mapping
• Display order may need to be adjusted with MicroStation or Bentley Advanced Map Finishing tools
• Reference of IMPX and ORAX files
